So... we had had a busy day, went to 2 lighthouses and the beach, not to mention we have fire works to do. I called around to find a nice place to eat and had a pretty funny phone call with one restaurant who claimed to serve hamburgers with pickles. (I thought most did come with pickles - what do I know- they were pretty proud of the fact that they served pickles with theirs) Finally found a place to eat and had some good food, only to come back to water spewing from the ceiling in front of our hotel door. Of course, we thought it was on fire and that the sprinklers had come on. We were relieved when we found out it was a water pipe that had broken, so moved to another room. I then called the front desk to find out where the best spot to watch the fireworks would be. Apparently it had been a long day for the lady who answered the phone because the only advice she could give me was to stand outside and make sure there weren't any trees blocking my view. Can I say DUH! I was looking for a location to go to, not to be aware of where the trees were. We ended up finding a fine spot and had a good time.
The look on Brianna's face explains it all! Bricen, always the trooper and ready to help daddy light off some Costco fireworks before the big show.

We had a great view of the firework show, it was one of the longest we have seen. And... there weren't any trees blocking our view!

We ended the night with smiles :)
