"Z" is for Zoo, "F" is for FUN!

The kids and I went to the zoo with Melissa and Carsen, two of our favorite people to hang out with. It was a great day, a little chilly though! We got to see just about all of the animals, they must have known we were coming. It was almost as if they were putting on a show for us, like in the Movie "Madagascar".

The Tiger came out and did a lap around strutting his stuff, we saw the Zebra's, Hippos, Rhino, Monkey's, Elephant's, Giraffe's, Polar Bears, you name it -- we saw it. All of the animals that are usually sleeping or hiding when we go were out and about, it was great.

Train! Train! Train! Train! was all we heard for at least 15 minutes until we finally reached it. The kids enjoyed taking a rest from walking to enjoy the beautiful forest scenery. This picture cracks me up! Occasionally when we ask Brice to smile, this is what he does as he says Cheese the funny thing is that Brianna did the exact same thing when she was his age. She grew out of it, lets just hope he does too!

Feeding the exotic brids had to be the HIGHLIGHT of the trip. I have never done this before and the kids thought it was pretty cool. I was very impressed that neither Brianna or Brice were one bit scared of having the birds climb on their arm and drink from the little cup.

Patience paid off and they both got a chance to hand feed the beautiful birds. They were so careful and gentle. I was quite proud!

"I Scream, You Scream, We ALL Scream for Ice Cream!" What day could be complete without Ice Cream. Carsen had Vanilla, Brice had Chocolate and Brianna had Chocolate/Vanilla Swirl. Brianna is letting Carsen take a taste of hers. Delicious!

What a fun day! I'm taking Diego to the zoo for the first time in a couple weeks...he might be a little young, but I think he'll LOVE IT!
