Bricen and Brianna had been looking forward to this trip for quite some time now. They were especially excited because we were going with Aunt Sharon, Uncle Andrew and cousins Everett and Dario. This was actually Brian and Andrew's idea as they thought it would be fun to go to Cabella's first then over to the indoor water park. We decided to go on President's Day weekend.
The drive up seemed pretty quick and everyone enjoyed shopping and looking around at Cabella's. The animal display they have is AMAZING! We ate an exotic lunch (I had a Bison sandwich) then it was off to Great Wolf for some more fun.
First, let me say that we had never been to Great Wolf before, we have only heard from other people how wonderful it is. I walked in and was instantly overwhelmed, this is not a good sign! I am the calm, easygoing one on trips, I ensure we have a good time and Brian worries about keeping us all safe. If I am overwhelmed that means that Brian can't breathe! It was so crowded and CRAZY!!!

We were able to check in early and got unpacked, swim suites on and went to check out to water park. It was very crowded but the kids managed to find the things they wanted to do. We played around the park for a little while then got ready for dinner. Dinner was great, the kids got wolf ears to wear and I brought some wands for them to wave around like the $30.00 magic wands they sell there. We went to the arcade and had a blast then back to the room to settle down for the night.
The kids got in some good tickle time before bedtime stories and sleep.
The next day was a lot more fun. It was a little less overwhelming and a little less crowded!

Brianna's favorite part of the whole park, was the lily pads. She was so good at them, I think because she was just the right height. Both Sharon and I did the lily pads too and we struggled much more than Brianna! (my stomach is still sore from it)
Bricen's favorite part was sitting on the jet ski's and squirting people. He said he really liked the wave pool also.

We went to Great Wolf last year and had a blast! Looks like you guys really enjoyed yourselves, Brianna and Brice are the perfect age for it! And I am glad to know someone else was overwhelmed. :)
